ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN BAHASA JAWA DALAM MENINGKATKAN CINTA TANAH AIR SISWA KELAS IV SDIT AVICENNA LASEM DI ERA 4.0

The phenomenon of Indonesia's young generation in the 4.0 era does not preserve regional languages on the grounds that the use of Indonesian is easier. This behavior can erode the love for the diversity of regional languages in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the use of Javanese language and the character of love for the homeland of fourth grade students of SDIT Avicenna Lasem in the 4.0 era and the implications of that language on the character of love for the homeland of students. The research method is descriptive research with a combination research approach (mixed methods). The population in this study were all students of SDIT Avicenna Lasem, while the sample of the study was fourth grade students, totaling 50 students. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and questionnaires (questionnaire). The results showed that the use of the Javanese language of fourth grade students of SDIT Avicenna Lasem in era 4.0 was balanced between Javanese and Indonesian and was in the fairly good category with a percentage of 48%. The form of the character of love for the homeland has been widely applied in this school, including the use of the Javanese language according to the right unggah-ungguh base. The character building is carried out by the school through habituation and example from the teacher. An understanding of the use of the Javanese language according to unggah-ungguh basa and the existence of a Javanese language map is a form of implication in internalizing the character of love for the homeland to the use of Javanese language by students.
