AUTHOR GUIDELINES
AL ITQAN accepts scientific articles in the form of studies or research results that have not been published before. Articles can be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic, using Word with the Candara font, between 5000 and 8000 words, including footnotes, bibliography, and appendices. AL ITQAN only accepts articles submitted online through the submission column by logging in on the journal page: https://ejournal.staialanwar.ac.id/index.php/itqon.
Articles submitted to the editorial office will be reviewed by editors and reviewers using a blind-review process. The decision to accept or reject the manuscript is made by the editorial board after evaluation by the reviewers.
Writing and presentation guidelines
1. Title. The title must reflect the formulation regarding the main topic of discussion. Written concisely, succinctly, and clearly. In the title, the main variables of the writing are already included. Try to use a title in English or Arabic that has been transliterated.
2. Author's name. The author's name is written in full, without titles, and accompanied by the name and address of the institution, as well as an email address.
3. Abstract and keywords. An abstract is the main summary of the entire manuscript. The abstract is written in 150-200 words. Keywords are between 3 and 5 words/phrases.
Introduction.
4. The introduction section includes the background of the problem and the formulations or objectives of the research, as well as the methods or theories and hypotheses (if any).
5. Findings and discussion. 6. Conclusion
7. All references cited in the article text must be listed in the Bibliography section.
8. The bibliography must contain reference works from primary sources (scientific journals and amounting to a minimum of 80% of the entire bibliography) published in the last 10 (ten) years.
10. Bibliography writing should preferably use reference management applications such as Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, or others. The bibliography format used in AL ITQAN: Journal of Qur'anic Studies is in accordance with the Chicago Style 17th edition (full note, with ibid.). Citations use the footnote system.
Guidelines for Arabic writing: The Arabic text is typed in Uthman Taha Naskh font size 14, with 1.15 line spacing, on A4-sized paper.
